The 19-year-old Franklin Square resident was born in Italy and is a huge Juventus fan. He returns for his second season with the Academy in 2008.

Mike played for Carey High School as well as three youth soccer teams with the same nickname: Auburndale Supersonics, Kosmos Supersonics and New York United Supersonics, winning three State Cups along the way. At Carey, he was named All-County and Team MVP.

He played for Stony Brook University in 2007 and 2008 and now looks to strengthen the Adelphi Panthers this fall.

He describes his best moment ever on a soccer field as making the NPSL National Final Four with the Academy last year.
